No braking system is more powerful than a hydraulic disc - and that means engineers had to put in the overtime to design a frame that's up to the job. The Attain SL Disc's 12mm through thru-axle, disc-specific carbon fork and carefully designed rear end are all built to handle the specific demands of the Shimano hydraulic disc system. As you'd expect, the mechanically formed down tube - joined using a Smooth Welding process to the tapered head tube and PressFit bottom bracket shell - is supremely stiff and effficient, while slender seat stays and the carbon fork blades maintain the Attain series' reputation for comfort by reducing road vibrations and rider fatigue.
