Cube's range-topping, aluminium-framed Hybrid full suspension bike just took another huge leap forward. Building on the success of its illustrious forbears, Cube completely reworked the frame for 2018 around Bosch's completely enclosed battery and motor system. Lighter, stiffer, more comfortable and better handling than ever, the Stereo Hybrid 120 Race now comes equipped with powerful Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes and matching smooth, precise 11 speed transmission. No climb is too steep, no descent too tricky. And to make sure you're in full control at all times - with enough comfort for extended days in the saddle - it is specced with a Fox 34 Rhythm fork at the front and matching shock at the rear.

As tricky as it is to improve on something that's already so good, Cube engineers set out to better every aspect of the Stereo Hybrid 120 Race's frame. The one piece, gravity cast down tube houses the Bosch battery and drive unit in an elegant enclosure that's stiff, light and protects the electrical system from the elements. You can even charge the battery without removing it from the frame, while the CUBE design bash plate protects the motor from trail debris and impacts. Revised geometry includes a more progressive shock rate, higher bottom bracket and longer head tube for better stability, greater comfort and a nimbleness that will surprise you. Stealth dropper post-ready cable routing is standard, as are a stiffness-enhancing Boost rear end and maintenance-reducing internal cable routing. With a lower centre of gravity, lighter weight and sleek looks, the Stereo Hybrid 120 Race just raised the bar another notch.
