Trousers are great for watching downhill races or getting in a couple of runs but not ideal for hitting line after line. That's where the Demo Pro Shorts offer the freedom and breathability for hitting downhill hard.
The shorts are made from a woven version of Specialized's lightweight and ultra-breathable VaporRize™ fabrics. This makes them more than tough enough to take repeated spills while you're finding your line, or losing it, without sacrificing comfort. They also include laser perforated venting that's just as effective at dumping excess heat as mesh, without creating a weakness in the overall strength of the shorts. So, you won't find yourself blowing these shorts out for a long time to come.
In terms of fit, these shorts are plenty baggy enough to layer body armour and pads, and there are side waist adjustment tabs that keep the waist where you want when the pockets are loaded. For all-year riding and to cope with the English Summer, the Demo Pro shorts are also water-repellant.
