When speed is all that matters, the S-Works Evade TT Skinsuit has you covered. The S-Works part of its name represents the fastest, most technologically advanced products that Specialized make. As the Evade skinsuits are the only clothing pieces to ever be bestowed with this honour, it should give you an idea of their capabilities. There are both TT and everyday options, but this time trial version is intended for short, all-out rides against the clock.
By creating eight different sizes, Specialized have created a level of fit that's just like a custom skinsuit which helps to eliminate bunching and drag. Compared to the standard SL Pro jersey and bib shorts, it's an astounding 96 seconds faster over 40km.
To meet the needs of modern day racers, the TT version found here also includes a lower, plunging neckline that rests closer to the collarbone than the GC version, and it is absent of rear storage pockets at the back. Combined, it gives the suit a more traditional feel and a slicker profile while in the TT position.
