The Transition Jacket is the most lightweight winter jacket that Castelli offer – the name refers to that period between autumn and winter in which cooler days start to creep in. If you’re looking for a garment to keep you protected when it’s not quite time for your all-out winter jacket, then this is ideal.
The Gore-Tex Infinium midweight fabric used across the front and sleeves offers exceptional protection from the wind whilst also being highly breathable – and giving you some extra protection in sporadic rainy spells. Without insulating fleecing in these areas, you have greater freedom of movement and the ability to layer up as necessary.
The rear is comprised of a warmer fleece fabric which has great moisture management properties, ensuring that your temperature is regulated.
