An entry-level service designed to address basic upkeep and ensure that your bike is running smoothly and safely. This type of service is ideal for bikes that are in relatively good condition but may require minor adjustments and routine checks to maintain optimal performance.
- Check Each Bolt: We will make sure every bolt is set to its correct torque value, including those securing the handlebars, seat post, brakes, and drivetrain, to prevent mechanical failures. Also, check for rust or damage.
- Wipe down frame and fork and inspect for hidden cracks or damage to ensure the bike's structural integrity, preventing rust,, especially on metal frames.
- Check wheel alignment and tyre pressure for optimal performance and safety, reducing the risk of punctures and improving ride quality.
- Adjust Gears: Fine-tune gears to ensure smooth, efficient shifting, preventing wear on drivetrain components and ensuring seamless transitions during rides.
- Adjust Brakes: Ensure brake pads are correctly aligned with rims or rotors and adjust brake tension for responsive braking, providing reliable stopping power and confidence in safety. We will also check the wear of your brake pads and rotor.
| | A more thorough (and our most popular) service designed for bikes that have been ridden extensively and are showing signs of wear. If your bike has seen many happy miles, has been used regularly, and, while it might be functioning, it likely needs more than just a quick check-up. This service offers more detailed care to address deeper maintenance needs.

- Drivetrain Removal and Hot Degrease: The drivetrain is removed and thoroghly cleaned to remove dirt and grime, restoring smooth pedaling and efficient shifting.
- Replace Drivetrain Components: Worn or damaged parts like the chain or cassette are replaced, with no extra labour cost for fitting, ensuring optimal performance (cost of parts apply).
- Wheel Alignment Check: The wheels are checked and adjusted for proper alignment (truing) to improve handling and ride quality. We will also check spoke tension.
- Hanger Alignment Check: The mech/derailleur hanger is inspected and aligned to ensure smooth gear shifting and prevent wear.
- We will also check all bearings present in the frame, headset, hubs and bottom bracket for excess wear.
| | The highest level of service available. This service is designed for bikes that experienced heavy use, sustained significant wear and tear, or simply require a detailed overhaul to return to peak performance. It covers every aspect of the bike’s functionality, ensuring it operates smoothly, safely and efficiently, just like when it was new (or even better). If your frame bearings need replacing we can also do this for an additional fee.

- Strip Down: This refers to disassembling the bike completely or to a large extent, meaning that various components and parts are removed for inspection, cleaning, maintenance or replacement.
- Reassemble: After performing necessary checks, repairs or maintenance, the bike is reassembled, with all parts and components being put back together in their correct positions. This process ensures that the bike is fully functional, with no overlooked issues.
- Fitment of Additional Parts: During the service, if any new parts need to be added, replaced or upgraded (such as brakes, tyres or a new seat), these will be fitted to the bike. The mechanic will ensure that these parts are compatible with the bike and correctly installed.
