The Topeak MTX Beam A-Type Bike Rack is a lightweight, seatpost-mounted rear rack designed specifically for 29” mountain bikes and gravel bikes. With an extended and widened platform, this updated MTX BeamRack offers improved stability and load support for larger wheel bikes, making it ideal for commuting, bikepacking, and everyday utility riding.
Constructed from durable aluminium, the A-Type BeamRack securely clamps to standard seatposts (ø25.4–31.8mm, shims included), providing a strong and reliable mounting solution without the need for frame eyelets. Its maximum load capacity of 9kg (20lbs) makes it perfect for carrying trunk bags, commuting gear, tools, or light touring essentials.
The integrated MTX QuickTrack® system ensures seamless compatibility with Topeak MTX 1.0 and 2.0 TrunkBags and baskets, allowing quick slide-on installation and secure locking attachment. For added versatility, the QuickTrack panel can be flipped to accommodate compatible bags and baskets from other brands, increasing flexibility for different storage setups.
