The revolutionary design of the Ruby Expert UDi2 erases any shadow of a doubt that smoother is faster. The frame is among the lightest and it's been constructed from a superlative FACT 10r carbon fibre. Its stiffness levels are also off the charts, and compared to the previous SL4, you'll experience a whole new, faster, and more efficient geometry. You'll be pleased to know that the same fit, feel, and position that we've all come to love from the SL4's Women's Endurance Geometry has also been maintained.
Future Shock suspension is, essentially, a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel. This technology was developed in partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies, and the result of this are a host of drastic performance improvements, namely in the vertical compliance department. By focusing on vertical compliance, instead of fork splay, smoothness, speed, and comfort could be improved in one fell swoop. Of all the bikes tested with the Rolling Efficiency Model, the new Ruby outperforms anything on the market.
It is spec'd with awesome components, like Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifting, 8070 hydraulic disc brakes, Roval C38 Disc carbon wheels, and a host of comfortable women's-specific components.
