Informed by biomechanical insights from RETÜL, Specialized identified the need for both standard and wide carbon base plates to accommodate various foot shapes. The integration of an internal I-Beam enhances stiffness and strength, resulting in a weight reduction of 20g, improved efficiency, and immediate power transfer.
Drawing from RETÜL biomechanical data, Specialized designed an asymmetric heel cup that not only supports natural knee alignment but also provides a secure hold and increased comfort by accommodating more space for the Achilles heel.
