The Women's Diverge E5 has been redesigned and tailored for female riders to suit your needs, enabling you to cross those hurdles that were obstructing your journey before. Understanding the needs of women who not only wish to ride a tarmac road to work but take on different terrains without investing in a cyclocross bike has reinvented the Diverge.
Tyre clearance has been accustomed for the frame to fit up to 700x42mm tyres whilst the style of the Roubaix has been adapted to develop a lightweight yet durable E5 Premium Aluminium frame that encompasses sufficient stiffness for tough riding. The lightweight FACT carbon fork offers an appropriate stiffness to support handling and deliver rigidity. Open Road Geometry has replaced the conventional 'cross geometry, delivering versatile handling and precise steering to allow you to take to the trails with confidence. The Open Road Geometry comprises a bottom bracket which is over 50mm lower than the 2017 Diverge, a slacker head tube angle, short chainstays and a short wheelbase, resulting in a bike that is as much fun on a trail as it is on the road.
An upgraded version of Specialized's Future Shock has equipped the bike to take bumps with ease whilst maintaining precise handling. This is achieved by the wheelbase not lengthening when you hit a bump, steadying the head tube angle whether you are taking to the gravel or dirt road which means no surprises with steering or handling when you come to a hard turn. The new Future Shock encompases a progressive spring to help the bike handle off-road riding better than it's predecessor with stiffer suspension. A combination of a Shimano Claris groupset, mechanical disc brakes, a reliable Axis Sport Disc wheelset and Espoir Sport Reflect tyres, with their reflective sidewall and two layers of BlackBelt flat protection, generate smooth braking with responsive shifting.
Take your road riding on an adventure with the Diverge E5.
