When you hear the name 'McLaren', the first thing that comes to mind are their F1 motors but they are not the only race machines they have their hands in. The S-Works Roubaix McLaren with Shimano Di2 has been designed in tandem with McLaren applied technologies.
To celebrate, this limited edition model features a one-of-a-kind paint job, custom hubs, and custom bar tape. So not only will you be riding the most comfortable race bike, you'll be the coolest one on the road too. The frame is one of the lightest Specialized have ever made, and it has been constructed from their top-tier FACT 11r carbon fibre. It's stiffness levels are off the charts, and compared to the SL4 iteration of yesteryear, you will experience a whole new faster, more efficient geometry. Through some creative engineering, they have managed to keep the same fit, feel and position that we all love from the SL4, and kept it consistent throughout the size-range due to their Rider-First Engineered construction.
The suspension has been carefully considered, factoring in Future Shock, a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel; a technology which was developed in partnership with McLaren. Improved smoothness, speed and comfort derived from focus on vertical compliance. The result is a Roubaix which outperforms anything on the market.
As if this wasn't enough, Specialized spec'd it with Shimano's Dura-Ace 9150 Di2 groupset, S-Works carbon components and hand-built Roval CLX 32 disc wheels with custom hubs.
