More than a mechanical derailleur with a motor added, the Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brain of the SRAM AXS system. It offers fast, accurate shifts at the touch of a button, even under heavy race-level chain loads. Setup is simple, with electronic trimming for quiet, efficient operation and improved drivetrain longevity.
Designed with an XC focus but tough enough for trail riding, the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS 12-speed derailleur features a shorter cage for 10mm more ground clearance compared with mechanical Eagle. It also sits slightly further forward and inboard for added protection on rough terrain, while maintaining excellent chain wrap around the cassette.
The Overload Clutch protection system helps protect the derailleur from impacts by allowing it to move out of the way and then return to position. SRAM’s AXS software also allows riders to programme and personalise compatible SRAM and RockShox components for a fully connected riding experience.
With a lightweight carbon cage, titanium hardware, Eagle technology and a fully water and dustproof IP69K rating, the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur is built for demanding mountain bike performance in all conditions.
