Originally pioneering aerodynamic performance for wider tubeless tyres, the latest ERC 1400 evolves with a 22mm internal rim width and an updated rim profile optimised for 28–30c road tyres. This wider platform improves rolling efficiency, comfort and grip while maintaining exceptional aerodynamic performance at speed. The 45mm carbon rim depth offers a powerful blend of reduced drag and confident handling in gusty crosswinds, making it ideal for varied UK road conditions, rough tarmac and long-distance efforts.
Developed in collaboration with aerodynamic specialist JP Ballard and extensively tested at the GST wind tunnel in Immenstaad, Germany, the ERC rim profile maximises speed without compromising control. The hooked carbon clincher design ensures secure tyre retention and straightforward tubeless setup, expanding compatibility across a wide range of road tyres.
At the centre of the wheelset are DT Swiss 240 hubs featuring the 36-tooth Ratchet EXP system.
