When developing FFWD's LAW Tech aerodynamic rim profile one key factor has been to make the flow between tyre and rim as smooth as possible. This has resulted in superb aerodynamic results for the RYOT44 and the fastest road wheel RYOT55.
Although lower rim profiles do not bring the best aerodynamic advantages the smooth transition between rim and tyre remains an important aspect.
With the RYOT33 FFWD present the most versatile wheelset you can imagine as it brings a perfectly balanced wheel for many circumstances and terrains. Due to the light weight of 1465g this would be your ideal mountain wheelset. Not only helpful when climbing it will also offer stability and confidence in the descent.
The internal rim width is suitable for tyres up to 42mm making the RYOT33 also perfect for (light) gravel and cyclocross bikes. Also for small and light people these wheels are perfect when conditions are more rough. The shallow profile then provide stability and stiffness without feeling nervous. You are in control.
Build around the new DT Swiss 240 EXP hub system
The new DT Swiss 240 hubs in the RYOT33 have been improved with an EXP ratchet system. The hub internals now offer an even higher precision with fast engagement and increased stiffness combined with a lower weight. This helps to bring the performance of the wheel to an even higher level.
Built for you with the most precision and same amount of attention FFWD spend on all wheels at their facility in The Netherlands. The wheels are shipped as a complete package with accessories in a nice protective wheel bag. (Disc rotors not included).
