Extensively developed to complement the wheel perfectly, the Pulse is fast and light but not limited to dry and flat trails. With their fast rolling compound on the center tread and softer side knobs (Xmix dual compound), the Crossmax Pulse tire screams high speed rolling and confident cornering. Mavic also designed this tire to offer superior mud shredding characteristics for more grip in all conditions.
With user-friendly UST (universal standard for tubeless) rims and lighter UST tubeless ready tires, this fast and light wheel/tire system brings all the benefits of tubeless - traction, control, lower risk of flats and reduced weight.
Featuring the proven ITS-4 freewheel system on the rear providing quick engagement. Crossmax Elite hubs are compatible with multiple axle standards if you change your bike or fork (adapters have to be purchased separately).
On the technical side, the hubs are compatible with 15x100 mm thru axles and 9x100 mm QR mounts on the front and 12x135 mm, 12x142 mm (adapters included) thru axles and 10x135 mm QR axles (adapters included) on the rear.
