The SB100 is the result of what Yeti can do with short travel and Switch Infinity. It transcends the weight-weenie, uphill only models and replaces it with a precision riding bike. Some people assume it's a downhiller's XC bike but for Yeti, it's simply the bike they always wanted to build.
The SB100 employs an integrated headset which allows for a lower overall stack height and cleaner carbon layup. The cleaner carbon layup means there are no aluminum inserts and less glue and material in the headset juncture. This all leads to a lighter, stronger front triangle. Internal routing allows for clean lines and less translation of housing during suspension movement.

C/Series
By making small changes in the carbon fibre layup of Yeti's TURQ Series bikes, they created a more aggressively priced carbon high-performance mountain bike. C-Series frames maintain the strength and stiffness of the TURQ Series. The carbon fibre weighs a bit more, about 250g per frame. Every bike model is offered in at least one C-Series option with high-end components.

Re-Designed Switch Infinity
The Switch Infinity was re-designed specifically for 100mm of travel. It is lighter and tucks neatly behind the seattube. There is no performance difference between this and the other switch mechanism. The SB100 switch utilises the same proven FOX Racing bushings, seals, and Kashima stanchions as the switch found on other models.
No More Gunk on your Bottle
The water bottle fits comfortably inside the front triangle, where you might be used to having it. It took considerable effort to accommodate a bottle, optimise stand-over and meet Yeti's kinematic expectations.
Uninterrupted Seattube
The new Switch Infinity design and placement is visually pleasing creating classic frame lines whilst the uninterrupted seattube allows space for longer dropper seatposts.
Genre Killing Geometry
Inspired by going fast downhill but balanced to provide uphill efficiency. The SBB100 blurs the lines between XC and Trail. A longer front centre with shorter chainstays and a slacker head angle find the right combination of up and down. The design also allows for an uniterrupted seatpost, to fit a longer dropper.
Integrated Headset
The SB100 employs an integrated headset and cleaner carbon layup, meaning there are no aluminium inserts and less material in the headset juncture, resulting in a lighter, stronger front triangle.

TECHNOLOGY
Switch Infinity
Is a Yeti patented system that utilises a linear translating pivot, providing a tailored anti-squat curve that other systems cannot physically achieve. An initially high anti-squat value delivers superior pedaling performance. Further into the travel, the anti-squat quickly drops off to allow the custom tuned FOX Racing shock to perform as intended. These characteristics provide excellent mid-stroke support and a bottomless feel.
Tunable
Switch Infinity is a versatile system easily adaptable to different travel platforms. It can be mounted in any orientation and can achieve a myriad of kinematics depending on the design intent. For explample, longer travel bikes require drastically different kinematics later in the travel (controlling wheel path trajectory). The Switch Infinity system can control this much more precisely than other suspension designs because of the linear path of the main pivot. It also means the leverage ratio and anti-squat can be controlled with much greater freedom than other systems.
Durable
The Switch Infinity is a simple, lightweight, bombproof system built by FOX Racing Shox from proven suspension components and engineered and tested to withstand the worst riding conditions. Only the best components are used in its construction - Kashima coated stanchions for low friction and durability, seals and bushings that are used in FOX's off-road racing division, and a lightweight forged translating pivot.
Anti-Squat
Yeti are aiming for a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve in the beginning and mid-section of travel where pedaling commonly occurs, i.e. the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform through the entire pedaling zone, as opposed to one single point. After the pedaling zone, there is an inflection point where the Switch Infinity link begins to move down, dropping the anti-squat drastically. You're typically not pedaling in this zone so you need the chain forces to have less of an effect on the suspension performance since it's an opposing force.Decoupling of the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts.
Leverage Ratio
Yeti aim to deliver a leverage rate with linear progression. A straighter, more linear curve means it's easier to tune shocks to pair with the suspension kinematics, and you don't have to rely on damping circuits to compensate. You can choose a leverage ratio that provides small bump sensitivity and enough progression to maintain mid-stroke support and bottom out control. Being able to manipulate the leverage ratio without affecting the anti-squat characteristics is unique to Yeti's patented Switch Infinity suspension.
