The Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL T Disc is one of the best ways to improve the climbing ability of any light disc-equipped road bike. Low weight, high impact resistance Our exclusive Finite Element Simulation software allowed us to not only produce one of the lightest rims in the carbon tubular field at just 320g, but to make sure it will resist any abuse thanks to one of the highest impact resistance ratings. A wide tire bead of 23mm is the perfect size for our 25mm Yksion Pro tubular tires giving outstanding ride quality, rolling efficiency and comfort. Isopulse lacing. Our exclusive Isopulse lacing maintains a high lateral stiffness in any conditions by keeping the spoke tension balanced whatever lateral load is applied. And our new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system not only keeps weight low but also provides a low 9° engagement for instant acceleration. Designed for discsA disc wheel needs to be much more than just a regular wheel with a disc compatible hub. To withstand the added stress of braking through the hub, we raised the spoke number to 24 for both the front and the rear wheel. This ensures the braking torque makes its way to the ground with no wheel wobbling or loss of control. Fully compatible The wheelset is also fully compatible with all available retention systems: the front wheel comes in ready for 12mm through axle and easily converts to quick release or 15mm through axle, using the optional adapters provided. The rear wheel comes in 12x142 but converts to standard quick release with the optional adapters. The hubs are available in Center Lock only. Freewheel system is for Shimano/Sram but converts to Campy or Sram XD with optional driver bodies.
