Refined using over 100,000 RETÜL foot scans, the S-Works Torch features a meticulously engineered upper that balances adaptive comfort zones with strategic reinforcement. This allows natural foot movement where needed, while locking the foot securely in place for crisp, efficient power transfer and race-ready performance.
An updated BOA® cable routing system is angled and repositioned lower on the shoe to eliminate pressure points, reduce forefoot lift and enhance midfoot stability—delivering improved comfort and control during hard efforts and long rides.
Ultra-Light Carbon Sole with Proven Stiffness
The new carbon base plate is 20g lighter than the previous S-Works 7, while maintaining the same industry-leading stiffness thanks to an internal I-Beam structure. This design ensures immediate power transfer without unnecessary bulk or added weight.
To accommodate more riders, the Torch is available in standard and wide fit options, with the new base plate measuring 4mm wider at the ball of the foot (8mm wider than the S-Works 7), making it one of the best wide-fit performance road cycling shoes available.

An asymmetrical heel counter, guided by RETÜL biomechanical data, supports natural knee tracking while providing secure heel hold and increased Achilles comfort. The updated shoe last slopes laterally for a closer, more anatomical fit that enhances stability and pedalling efficiency.
